What We Do

Clean Burn Fuels’ Raeford plant will be a dry mill facility. Once in production, the plant will mill 20 million bushels of corn and produce 60 million gallons of ethanol per year. Distiller's grain, which is a by-product of ethanol production, is a high protein low cost feed that will be sold locally to the areas feed mills.
Clean Burn Fuels will capture and compress carbon dioxide gas to a liquid form. The majority of the CO2 will be sold as a liquid and the balance as a solid (dry ice). The total plant and infrastructure investment will be approximately $100 million. Will employ over 100 people in it's ethanol, CO2 and trucking operations.

Ethanol in the Energy Policy Act
asdf

The following is a reference taken from the signing of the Energy Policy Act by President George W. Bush:

"The bill also will lead to a greater diversity of fuels for cars and trucks. The bill includes tax incentives for producers of ethanol and biodiesel. The bill includes a flexible, cost-effective renewable fuel standard that will double the amount of ethanol and biodiesel in our fuel supply over the next seven years. Using ethanol and biodiesel will leave our air cleaner. And every time we use a home-grown fuel, particularly these, we're going to be helping our farmers, and at the same time, be less dependent on foreign sources of energy."
